Build next generation devices for our future smart cities. From better-designed traffic lights, to connected homes, urban farms and citizen information services, what will you build?
We are asking you to design a system that could be implemented in homes or cities to make them smarter, better and more modern. Get started by submitting your idea to the Pre-Contest, if you win you (and 99 others) will receive a free Arduino-compatible Linkit ONE and a $25 gift certificate to Seeed Studio!
For the second part of the contest, make your idea a reality and publish detailed instructions to Hackster. The first place winner will receive an iPad Pro 32gb. Second place receives an iPad mini 4 16GB. Third place receives a new Apple TV. All three finalists receive Seeed Studio service credit for Free PCB layout & DFM review ($1,000 value).
Make a robot friend with Adafruit’s CRICKIT – A Creative Robotics & Interactive Construction Kit. It’s an add-on to our popular Circuit Playground Express, FEATHER and other platforms to make and program robots with CircuitPython, MakeCode, and Arduino. Start controlling motors, servos, solenoids. You also get signal pins, capacitive touch sensors, a NeoPixel driver and amplified speaker output. It complements & extends your boards so you can still use all the goodies on the microcontroller, now you have a robotics playground as well.
