Interview with @MattStultz Moat Boat Paddle Battle #WMF15 #MakerFaire
We had a great time at Maker Faire 2015 and our most memorable coverage was at the Paddle Battle event. We caught up with Matt Stultz, the 3D Printing community organizer at Make and chatted about the story behind the Moat Boat Paddle Battle. This was our favorite events because it combines 3D printing, engineering and competition that encourages function over aesthetics.
Matt Stultz wrote an article on Make that details how the event took place and who was crowned the champion. Be sure to check that out on Makezine.com
Make a robot friend with Adafruit’s CRICKIT – A Creative Robotics & Interactive Construction Kit. It’s an add-on to our popular Circuit Playground Express, FEATHER and other platforms to make and program robots with CircuitPython, MakeCode, and Arduino. Start controlling motors, servos, solenoids. You also get signal pins, capacitive touch sensors, a NeoPixel driver and amplified speaker output. It complements & extends your boards so you can still use all the goodies on the microcontroller, now you have a robotics playground as well.
