Life-Size Hulkbuster Armor Took Over 1,600 Hours to Make
You apparently don’t have to be Iron Man or have access to Stark Industries technology to build a set of Hulkbuster armor. Thomas DePetrillo of Extreme Costumes spent over 1,600 hours crafting a replica of the massive armor. The suit was built by Stark to stand up to The Hulk — it’s seen on screen in Avengers: Age of Ultron. DePetrillo says the costume has been in the works for two years. It’s over 6 feet wide, 44 inches thick, and over 9 feet tall. It’s the the biggest project he’s worked on. The above video shows some behind-the-scenes shots and the incredible finished suit.
