Remember Thomas DePetrillo’s awesome life-size Hulkbuster costume? He wore it to New York Comic Con. The builder from Extreme Costumes somehow navigated the crowds in the massive suit — seeing him maneuver through the hordes really gives context to the size of the massive suit. Tech Insider grabbed footage of the costume and talked to DePetrillo about the basics of the project. It takes him 20 minutes just to suit up in the over 9 feet costume — the legs are built on stilts and someone else has to put the helmet on for him. The costume weighs 95 pounds.
Make a robot friend with Adafruit’s CRICKIT – A Creative Robotics & Interactive Construction Kit. It’s an add-on to our popular Circuit Playground Express, FEATHER and other platforms to make and program robots with CircuitPython, MakeCode, and Arduino. Start controlling motors, servos, solenoids. You also get signal pins, capacitive touch sensors, a NeoPixel driver and amplified speaker output. It complements & extends your boards so you can still use all the goodies on the microcontroller, now you have a robotics playground as well.
