This is a cute Neopixel unicorn project from Cole Linhart on YouTube.
The cycle is two rainbows (ones a spoke, ones a fade) and solid lavender. This is a project I did with my dad (linhartr22), he places the code on github. I provide artistry (gluing, tying, sourcing objects, etc.), he provides the gnome/engineering magic (everything wires, code).. This is a gemma from Arduino, on two individually addressable LEDs and a battery.
Next mod: add a 2-button chip that allows for switching between modes on the strands one at a time.
