Steven Universe is a simple enough costume that you could still pull it together for Halloween tomorrow if you wanted to. It’s just a red shirt with a star and jeans. You could do a simple closet cosplay version, or you could make an outfit from scratch like Lauren Dixon-Paver. She designed a femme version of the dress that could be worn as a costume or just as everyday apparel — and it even comes with a full set of cat finger puppets.
If you’d like to follow a step-by-step with photos rather than a video, visit Lauren’s tutorial at Instructables.
