YouTube user Lady Cammi made this awesome NeoPixel purse as part of her Honey Lemon cosplay for the Paint the Night Parade at Disney World.
I finished modifying my Honey Lemon cosplay I did for Anime Expo 2015 to work with Mickey’s Halloween Party. Specifically – with the Paint the Night Parade!
This was a joint project with my bf and I. I took care of the purse, including hardware set up and writing the software for the Arduino to work with Adafruit’s Neopixels and receiving data via Bluetooth from Android.
My bf took care of the Android application side, including writing the software for GUI animations in Unity and sending data via Bluetooth to Arduino.

Her Instagram has tons of cool photos and videos from the parade – check it out! Looks like it was a blast.
Here's a short clip of my Honey Lemon purse/outfit working with Paint the Night! We chose a place that was not as crowded because I didn't want to be … light pollution >_> … to the rest of the guests. But omg excuse my derpyness. I was way too excited and ":D" And I didn't get permabanned from Disney either for having a costume that was "too" Disney parade-quality like, yay!
