Rescue Rangers Gadget Cosplay from Comic Con Russia

Gadget Rescue Rangers Cosplay 1

Russia Comic Con took place at the beginning of October and featured a plethora of fantastic cosplay (see a cosplay video from the event by Mr. TVCow linked below), including an adorable Gadget Hackwrench from Chip’n Dale Rescue Rangers. Aleksandra Bodler did a spot-on job bringing the mouse to life. I’m highlighting her work because this is an idea for a last minute costume that’s relatively simple to pull together and highly recognizable. You’d need to acquire or make a purple jumpsuit (you could opt for a purple dress too), goggles, and the right wig, and then you’ll need to make mouse ears. Those can easily be fashioned from craft foam.

It’s an add-on to our popular Circuit Playground Express, FEATHER and other platforms to make and program robots with CircuitPython, MakeCode, and Arduino. Start controlling motors, servos, solenoids. You also get signal pins, capacitive touch sensors, a NeoPixel driver and amplified speaker output. It complements & extends your boards so you can still use all the goodies on the microcontroller, now you have a robotics playground as well.
