Antoine Geiger’s SUR-FAKE #celebratephotography

Great, thought provoking series by Antoine Geiger via deMilked via this isn’t happiness:

There are certain problems with using technology too often, but Antoine Geiger thinks phones are almost literally soul-sucking. His Sur-Fake project shows people with faces that are being sucked in by mobile phones like they were tiny plastic Dementors or Necromongers.

From Geiger’s site:

This research echoes the SUR-FACE project.
It is placing the screen as an object of “mass subculture”, alienating the relation to our own body, and more generally to the physical world.
