Darksiders Death’s Scythe with LEDs

Darksiders prop 1

Darksiders is a game from 2010 that’s all about roleplaying and action. It seems to have a devoted fan base, and cosplayer Darius, also known as Deathstrike Cosplay, is one of the fans. He’s made a few props from the game, including the scythe wielded by Death. It’s called The Harvester. It was made by Death, and Darius created replicated the blade. He made the skulls from pro foam that was dense but easy to carve and left a space for wires for the LEDs and a power source (you can see that in the below photo).

More photos of the build are at Facebook.

Make a robot friend with Adafruit’s CRICKIT – A Creative Robotics & Interactive Construction Kit. It’s an add-on to our popular Circuit Playground Express, FEATHER and other platforms to make and program robots with CircuitPython, MakeCode, and Arduino. Start controlling motors, servos, solenoids. You also get signal pins, capacitive touch sensors, a NeoPixel driver and amplified speaker output. It complements & extends your boards so you can still use all the goodies on the microcontroller, now you have a robotics playground as well.
