The Space Doctor’s Big Idea

Large statue of Albert Einstein in front of the National Academy of Science in Washington, DC. You can notice the places on his lap and nose where visitors rub the oxidation from the statue.

Randall Munroe of xkcd fame has an awesome piece in the New Yorker called The Space Doctor’s Big Idea.  It reads a bit like a children’s book explaining Einstein’s theory of special and general relativity in normal language.  The illustrations are top notch too–check it out!
