If you haven’t seen Microsoft’s cross-platform text & code editor, Visual Studio Code, you should definitely check it out now that it’s officially in beta. The latest update added a ton of features like extension/plugin support, debugging improvements, and even open-sourcing the code on GitHub. It’s even more impressive that all of these features are available for free and on Windows, Mac OSX, and Linux. Check out the Visual Studio Code homepage for more details and downloads.
