Say you’re going to a bike rave. Bike rave? Yes, bike rave! How are you going to transport the raver lights and music? Through a Raspberry Pi solar powered LED rave shopping cart tricycle, obviously! And krater shows how to make one via instructables
In this instructable we’re going to take a plastic shopping cart, fill its basket with individually addressable LEDs on custom printed PCBs, use PIC18F4550 microcontrollers to display text and sound responsive patterns on the LEDs, weld better wheels and a bicycle onto the cart, add a solar panel and speakers, then use a Raspberry Pi to play MP3s and send song titles to the microcontrollers through USB.
