Check out this Headbanging Flora Fedora AKA “Gangsta Headbang” from Anna Xambó on Vimeo.
Demo of a wearable presented at the Barcelona Music Hack Day 2015 developed by Gerard Roma and Anna Xambó.
A fedora hat triggers chords when you follow the rhythm with your head. Inspired by rude boy fashion in Jamaican music and augmented with wearable technology.
We are using Adafruit Flora, Flora accelerometer/compass sensor LSM303, neopixels, conductive thread, and a fedora hat.
We are thankful to FabLab for advice and lending us the Flora board.
