The variations possible on Anna’s and Elsa’s dresses from Frozen are endless. I’ve seen them modified several ways and still come across new iterations — including ones like these by Alassa. She came up with period accurate designs for the coronation gowns for both sisters. The end results are just as lovely as anything seen in the film. Alassa says:
It’s our own design, that we tried to keep similar to real dresses of 1840s – the original supposed setting of Frozen.
The basic colors and patterns are the same; the dresses are fuller with period-appropriate sleeves and skirts. You can see more pictures at Tumblr.
