Lianne Moseley, a.k.a. Lustredust, is a skilled makeup artist. I’ve featured her work before, and her mad talents with body paint continue to wow me. She uses makeup to bring comic book characters to life — her approach to cosplay really allows her to present a look others can’t. Makeup can capture the art and feel of comic book art in a way fabric can’t always match. One of her latest works? The Joker from the New 52. She’s painted her hair green and applied makeup to replicate the face and the shirt. The effect is chilling. And I can’t imagine how long it must have taken to paint every one of those teeth.
