US National Parks Free Entrance Day Monday January 18th
This Monday January 18th, 2016, is a free entrance day for all national parks in the United States. If you’re lucky to have the day off from work in celebration of Martin Luther King Jr. day and live near a national park (like Mt. Rainier national park pictured above) it’s a great opportunity to check it out. Don’t worry if you miss it though, there are 15 other free entrance days planned during the year in celebration of 100 years of the National Park Service. Described as ‘America’s best idea’ the national parks celebrate the natural beauty and history of many sites across the nation. Check them out if you have the opportunity!
