Well it’s great to see that people are still making their own version and the latest addition has been made by forum user Ulf Maier. He has kindly provided some photo’s of his build which happens to be a super cheap coffee table from ikea. Ulf also found a fault in my PCB design where I accidentally missed one track from the microcontroller to the LED display, details of this can be found HERE. The potentiometer knobs were even 3D printed, and he has added his own implementation of brightness control which makes it great for playing in all sorts of lighting conditions.
Also, Ulf had to get his PCB’s made in bulk, if you’d like to purchase a PCB from him for around $3, then drop him a line in the forum.
