Below is a note we sent our team, thank you again everyone!
hey folks!
we are grateful to be celebrating the one millionth order together today with all of you. adafruit is rare, unique and special in this world, 1 million orders is an achievement to be proud of and share, we made this happen together with our smarts, caring and excellence to each other. we did this with and for each other. we’ve kept our important values and empowered each other to do important things together.
it’s more than 1 million orders, it’s one million thank yous to you the team, a million thanks to every customer, a million thank yous to everyone who has been part of this adafruit adventure past and present and in the future. we are here because of each other, one person cannot ship 1 million orders (maybe angel can, with enough coffee…).
adafruit is more than an educational electronics company, it’s a good cause and a good business, the world noticed. we are being rewarded with great customers and a community that comes back over and over. it’s taken about 10 years to get to 1 million orders and the next one million will happen a lot faster, how we get there is completely up to all of us, let’s continue to be excellent to each other and to our community and make the next 1 million, a million times more excellent together.
in closing, thank you stella for making it a lot of fun demonstrating you have -the knack- for numbers. nicely done, predicted it to the day, incredible 🙂
thank you,
ladyada & pt
