Mad Max: Fury Road Nux Cosplay Steering Wheel Prop

Nux steering wheel 1

If you’re dressing like a character from Mad Max: Fury Road, the steering wheel props are especially important. Nux and the other War Boys take great pride in having steering wheels for their rigs. You can make a lightweight version of the wheel to pair with your Nux cosplay, which is just what Misu, a.k.a. Marie, did. She used what looks like foam, paper, and maybe MDF to make the wheel and used the head from a plastic doll to adorn the center.

She used several layers of paint to give the wheel a metallic, rusted texture. You can see how the wheel looked before all that paint below.

Make a robot friend with Adafruit’s CRICKIT – A Creative Robotics & Interactive Construction Kit. It’s an add-on to our popular Circuit Playground Express, FEATHER and other platforms to make and program robots with CircuitPython, MakeCode, and Arduino. Start controlling motors, servos, solenoids. You also get signal pins, capacitive touch sensors, a NeoPixel driver and amplified speaker output. It complements & extends your boards so you can still use all the goodies on the microcontroller, now you have a robotics playground as well.
