Ben and Bianca have a how-to series with Cinefix called Homemade Movies. They put together tutorials showing viewers how to make props and costumes from films with everyday objects. It’s resourceful, inexpensive, and a great way to repurpose stuff you might have around your house. They tackled Deadpool’s red suit in a recent episode. The film premiered over the weekend, so in case you’re dying to make your own Deadpool costume for the convention center, they have you covered. After you’ve watched the episode, you can get templates for the armor at Homemade Movies’ Facebook page.
Make a robot friend with Adafruit’s CRICKIT – A Creative Robotics & Interactive Construction Kit. It’s an add-on to our popular Circuit Playground Express, FEATHER and other platforms to make and program robots with CircuitPython, MakeCode, and Arduino. Start controlling motors, servos, solenoids. You also get signal pins, capacitive touch sensors, a NeoPixel driver and amplified speaker output. It complements & extends your boards so you can still use all the goodies on the microcontroller, now you have a robotics playground as well.
