Audrey II Puppet for Little Shop of Horrors Costume
A Little Shop of Horrors Seymour cosplay isn’t complete without Audrey II, and Selby Cosplay crafted a puppet replica of the plant for his ensemble. He crafted the puppet using an armature frame, clay, and lots of sculpting. As you can see in the photo, the skin has a detailed pattern, the paint job is complex, and there’s a mouth full of teeth. Selby built it all. He says:
She is based a bit more in reality than in the musical. I have imagined she evolved as an ambush predator, taking inspiration from crocodiles and alligators. Her teeth are the combinaton of alligator, bear and dog.
