Something about Belle’s yellow ball gown takes me back. Growing up, she was one of my most beloved characters. Like many other girls, I related to the character from Beauty and the Beast because I always had my nose stuck in a book. Forget about the prince business, I was envious of the bookseller giving her a book. What sort of magical place was this?
Given all that, I can never resist a beautifully made Belle costume and this one by Analeigh Cosplay fits the bill. It’s elegant. She sewed it last summer and I can’t imagine the kind of work that went into replicating the detailed and full dress (she wears it with a petticoat and hoop skirt to emphasize the pouf).
