Andreas Olofsson has compiled a list of 200 words, acronyms, and expressions (also “jargon” – his word!) used in building chips and ICs, with either their quick definition or acronymous breakdown and links to their respective Wikipedia entries. So while some expressions like WiFi and CPU are more commonly spoken these days, quiz your friends on what Domino logic, FitFet, and FRAM are!
