Magical Maleficent Costume

maleficent_with_wings___cosplay_by_emilyrosa-d9w57x8

Cosplayer emilyrosa, also known as Laura Jansen and/or Lightning Cosplay, put together a stunning take on Maleficent’s woodland costume from the live-action film of the same name. She made the wings, horns, and donned prosthetics to give her ears the right pointed look. She recorded a video showing the making of the cosplay from sewing and aging the dress (it looks like she drafted the pattern herself) to sculpting the horns from clay and casting them — it’s fascinating to see them take shape.
