Magical Maleficent Costume

maleficent_with_wings___cosplay_by_emilyrosa-d9w57x8

Cosplayer emilyrosa, also known as Laura Jansen and/or Lightning Cosplay, put together a stunning take on Maleficent’s woodland costume from the live-action film of the same name. She made the wings, horns, and donned prosthetics to give her ears the right pointed look. She recorded a video showing the making of the cosplay from sewing and aging the dress (it looks like she drafted the pattern herself) to sculpting the horns from clay and casting them — it’s fascinating to see them take shape. Make a robot friend with Adafruit’s CRICKIT – A Creative Robotics & Interactive Construction Kit. It’s an add-on to our popular Circuit Playground Express, FEATHER and other platforms to make and program robots with CircuitPython, MakeCode, and Arduino. Start controlling motors, servos, solenoids. You also get signal pins, capacitive touch sensors, a NeoPixel driver and amplified speaker output. It complements & extends your boards so you can still use all the goodies on the microcontroller, now you have a robotics playground as well.
