Before last summer, I’d never seen a Rengar costume from League of Legends — and that’s not a stretch since there are so many characters and looks in the game — but I recently spotted another version. This Rengar is by Kinpatsu Cosplay. She’s been cosplaying for about three years and has done a huge number of costumes from League of Legends. She’s made armor, styled wigs, and employed all sorts of skills to finish them. The Rengar costume has armor, a prop, ears, and elaborate hair. She says she really enjoys replicating the fancy hairstyles. She explained a little about how she crafted the wig (it’s pictured in more detail below):
I used my silver Matilda wig from Arda as a base and then made braids from roving wool, fur and some extra wefts that clip into the wig smile.
I also made ears from EVA foam that I covered in fur, they’re sewn onto the wig to stay in place.
The eyepiece is also EVA foam.
Head to Facebook to see more steps of the Rengar build.
