Repairing a DW375 Planer with Bike Parts and Ingenuity @DEWALTtough
great blog post from Amy Qian, this time fixing a DeWALT DW375 planer. Good tips include when to use paste finishing wax (interesting), and I too keep a small collection of used toothbrushes – those are always useful for cleaning projects!
The main problem was that it was jammed so that turning the hand crank with any reasonable amount of force wouldn’t actually raise or lower the cutting head. It looked like the main culprit was a damaged chain tensioner.
