What if Darth Vader Smiled?

FinalSmiley6-1

Even when Darth Vader comes out on top, I wouldn’t exactly call him happy. Once he becomes more machine than man, emotions other than anger and hate take the backseat. Vader views everything Anakin Skywalker was as a weakness. I never imagined him smiling, but Replica Props Forum (RPF) user bubba fett did. He worked with a friend to make a smiling Vader helmet back in 2011 for Steve Sansweet. I’m surprised by how natural the smile looks on Vader’s face. You can see a couple photos below, and there are more at his RPF build thread.

Make a robot friend with Adafruit’s CRICKIT – A Creative Robotics & Interactive Construction Kit. It’s an add-on to our popular Circuit Playground Express, FEATHER and other platforms to make and program robots with CircuitPython, MakeCode, and Arduino. Start controlling motors, servos, solenoids. You also get signal pins, capacitive touch sensors, a NeoPixel driver and amplified speaker output. It complements & extends your boards so you can still use all the goodies on the microcontroller, now you have a robotics playground as well.
