Simple Night Light Kit uses 555 Timer & PIR

The ‘555 Based Motion Sensing Night Lamp Kit‘ from electronut looks like a simple enough project for anyone exploring 555 timers. The transistors, capacitors, and resistors are all common components and through-hole PCB designs are provided. The project could easily be modded to fit into a toy or other enclosure, or extended for more functionality. Let me know if you build this or mod it in any way – 555 timers are great starter projects!
