Zootopia’s Nick Wilde and Judy Hopps will be seen all over conventions this summer, I’m calling it now. The fox and rabbit are already popular with cosplayers. I’ve seen DisneyBound versions, full furry versions, and mostly commonly, humanized versions. Dakun Cosplay put together one of those humanized versions and did a terrific job. Dakun styled a wig to look like fox hair and added some ears to complete the illusion. To match Nick’s green costume perfectly, Dakun hand-painted the green shirt and tie. Dakun painted the draft with fabric crayons and colored it in with acrylic paint for fabric. The costume was finished with a hot glue pawsicle. You can see a couple in progress pictures below.
Make a robot friend with Adafruit’s CRICKIT – A Creative Robotics & Interactive Construction Kit. It’s an add-on to our popular Circuit Playground Express, FEATHER and other platforms to make and program robots with CircuitPython, MakeCode, and Arduino. Start controlling motors, servos, solenoids. You also get signal pins, capacitive touch sensors, a NeoPixel driver and amplified speaker output. It complements & extends your boards so you can still use all the goodies on the microcontroller, now you have a robotics playground as well.
