From Lagos to Cape Town, from Perth to Mexico City, the world is replete with hackers, makers, artists, and engineers – we are everywhere! For Hackaday’s recent World Create Day people gathered in places as diverse as the plains of the United States to islands at sea (Tenerife) to the north of the Arctic Circle (I’m looking at you Salangen, Norway!). Remotely located, the Internet connects us and we want to share our ideas with others. Here’s the report from Mike Szczys at Hackaday.
When people come together, great things happen. Last weekend, the Hackaday Community all over the world self organized and came together in 64 cities for World Create Day. It was a coalescence of people who want to make a difference in life, and don’t want to do it alone. Thank you to everyone who participated, to those who organized their own local event, and to everyone who joined in online. Let’s take a look at some of what went on.
