More than a few costumes have elements or props that need a glowing orb or gem, and it’s easy to make one using a silicone mold, paint, foil, thermoplastic beads, and some LEDs. Those are most of the supplies Ash Cosplay uses in the above how-to video. Once the orb/gem is finished (which she covers in detail), Ash nestles and then glues an LED strip inside the back of the hollow gem — you could absolutely use single LEDs in a different pattern inside the gem for more thorough coverage.
