#FractalFriday: the Buddhabrot Rendered in 4K

Named for the visual similarity with a seated repose of Gautama Buddha, the Buddhabrot is a fractal set related to the more-common Mandelbrot set. In the video below by Benedikt Bitterli the final results took 10 days on a GTX980 and includes “1 billion trajectories per frame.” Amazing! And that was after burning through another video card!
