Raspberry Pi Zero 2001 Monolith Case #piday #raspberrypi #3dprinting @Raspberry_Pi
“The thing’s hollow — it goes on forever — and — oh my God! — it’s full of stars!” Provoke evolution by wrapping your Pi Zero in a monolith — from Thingiverse
A Pi Zero’s dimensional ratios are really strikingly close to the 2001 Monolith: 1 x 4 x 9. The squares of the first 3 prime numbers. So I build this case for it to those exact dimensional ratios.
Was this planned? Is this some hidden agenda of Eben Upton? Perhaps he was upset we never made it back to the moon in 2001 to discover the Monolith there. So he went on a secret mission to bring it back himself…only to find that it was in fact really small and contained a mini-computer inside. Was the dawn of man a creation of a computer? Or did Upton travel back in time and start it himself?! Oh, the paradoxes!!!
