Game of Thrones season six has been flying along; we’ve already hit the seven episode mark. The new episodes have brought some different props and costumes into play, and I can only imagine the plans cosplayers must be making to replicate them. HBO is sort of helping with that by posting some detailed photos on Making Game of Thrones. The site is a production diary of sorts that goes behind the scenes with interviews, insight, and precious pictures. For example, they shared some images of props and costumes from “Blood of My Blood.” They got up close and personal with Heartsbane, the Tarly family’s Valyrian sword, and the new Kingsguard armor — the design changed because it combines the Crown and the Faith.
The stills capture touches you can’t spot when the costumes/props are only on screen for a minute. You can see a few images below and more at Making Game of Thrones.
