The Institute for Advanced Architecture of Catalonia has posted some thought provoking biohacking videos for a new course called “Skin 2”. The students will be using materials like bioplastics and kombucha mothers to augment the human body.
The first three videos were excellent examples of what our own dystopian future could look like. What if we lived in a world where our health had to be constantly monitored and was on display? What if our environment was so incredibly toxic that we needed our skin to behave like shields? How can we interact with each other when a serious pandemic is spreading?
