Glass Arduino ‘Computer’ Sculptures Resemble Anatomical Forms #ArtTuesday #Arduino
Shaped like hearts, or perhaps non-organ organs, or biological structures that don’t really exist but seem all-too-real, these “simple computers in glass” by Ammy Olofsson are absolutely gorgeous. See more photos of her works from this series on her website.
I made three simple computers in glass. There is no breadboard, the connected sculptures with copperwires inside and electrical components soldered to them makes the circuit. I have programmed them for interaction, for connecting bodies to, uploading information to them, to blur and explore the relation human-computer-body-machine or cyborg as something floating
Make a robot friend with Adafruit’s CRICKIT – A Creative Robotics & Interactive Construction Kit. It’s an add-on to our popular Circuit Playground Express, FEATHER and other platforms to make and program robots with CircuitPython, MakeCode, and Arduino. Start controlling motors, servos, solenoids. You also get signal pins, capacitive touch sensors, a NeoPixel driver and amplified speaker output. It complements & extends your boards so you can still use all the goodies on the microcontroller, now you have a robotics playground as well.
