This is a 2005 Nabaztag Smart Rabbit that I’ve rebuilt using a Raspberry Pi 3. It uses the Amazon Alexa voice service to translate your speech into actions, and reads out notifications and alerts using the Ivona Text-to-Speech engine. It’s integrated with IFTTT so that Facebook, Twitter, SMS and Email messages can all be read out.
It also moves its ears while speaking thanks to an Adafruit DC Motor HAT, and can take voice-activated selfies and upload them to Twitter using the Raspberry Pi camera module.
