IainArt created a tougher, more violent version of Princess Peach from Super Mario Bros. Cosplayer and model Helena Steele was inspired by the art and took it a step further by combining Peach’s appearance with Borderlands 2. She leveraged the cel-shaded aspect of the video game to make a showstopping look for Peach. The effort involved hand-painting a pink bikini top and pink shorts as well as crafting a crown and a bat and applying body makeup. The finished costume looks just like she stepped out of a cartoon.
