Gordon Williams, designer and maintainer of Espruino (https://www.adafruit.com/?q=espruino) has a new BLE-compatible Javascriptable hardware board coming out. Puck.js is a low energy bluetooth beacon which will be programmed and debugged wirelessly, either graphically or with JavaScript. It’s based on the new Nordic nRF52 chipset and will come with a magnetometer, multiple LEDs, a tactile button and a tiny silicone case. The Puck.js will come with the Espruino JavaScript interpreter pre-installed and could be programmed and controlled with Web Bluetooth, straight from a Chrome browser. You can back it yourself on KickStarter!
We don’t post many Kickstarters, but this is one of them!
