Great pi project this week from Youtube user Redniik featured on the blog!
Demonstrating the motorized lock on my home alarm system based on the Raspberry Pi.
The lock has been used daily for almost half a year now. The alarm system has been running for three years.
The two servo motors are controlled by an ATmega32U4 which, in turn is controlled by the RPi over USB serial. The RFID reader communicates directly with the RPi over serial.(read more)
