The video shows the three degrees of lighting intensity, each level elevated by touch – and then a glimpse of the circuit is shown at the end. Watch:

Adafruit Trinket – Mini Microcontroller – 5V Logic: Trinket may be small, but do not be fooled by its size! It’s a tiny microcontroller board, built around the Atmel ATtiny85, a little chip with a lot of power. We wanted to design a microcontroller board that was small enough to fit into any project, and low cost enough to use without hesitation. Perfect for when you don’t want to give up your expensive dev-board and you aren’t willing to take apart the project you worked so hard to design. It’s our lowest-cost arduino-IDE programmable board! Standalone Momentary Capacitive Touch Sensor Breakout – AT42QT1010: This breakout board is the simplest way to create a project with a single “momentary” capacitive touch sensor. No microcontroller is required here – just power with 1.8 to 5.5VDC and touch the pad to activate the sensor. When a capacitive load is detected (e.g. a person touches the sensor-pad area) the red LED lights up and the output pin goes high. You can also solder a wire to the middle pad and create your own capacitive pad if the built-in one isn’t suited to your project. Read more.
