Pokeball logo for 3D printed case @Othermachine #MillingMonday #CNC

For this weeks Milling Monday video, I took the 3D printed case from last weeks 3D Thursday project and milled out the Pokeball logo in acrylic. It’s a bit thicker than the backing of the case, so it sticks out slightly when fitted in the cutout. To prevent any potential scratches, I added a chamfer to the edges using an 80º engraving bit. Really simple add-on to the 3D printed case, and it’s a great example of how CNC milling can complement 3D printing.

If you haven’t already, check out the 3D printed Pokemon themed iPhone case.
