Adam Savage is into cosplay, and he always goes incognito at San Diego Comic-Con. He tackles a different costume every year, and this time around, he dressed as the bear from The Revenant. And he wasn’t just the bear — the costume involved dragging a dummy of Leonardo DiCaprio’s character from the film, complete with an Oscar. Savage told Entertainment Weekly he’s been wanting to make a big and realistic bear costume, and he realized he could pull off something lightweight after working with a puppeteer. He discusses the costume in the above video.
