The Mesmerizing Music of Star Trek #MusicMonday @StarTrek #StarTrek
The first time I saw an episode of Star Trek I was with my mom, in the living room of our house in Richmond, California. I don’t remember the episode, but I do remember the music.
Here’s a nice write up on startrekrenegades on the music of Star Trek, name checking the composes from over the years:
Beyond the TV Series theme songs, there was the weekly episode music, created by some of the best names you can find; from Gerald Fried who wrote the Fight Theme music from “Amok Time”, to Jay Chattaway, the creator of the all too familiar flute melody we love, from “The Inner Light”.
Oh, and I do remember the episode. It was The Man-Trap and it scared the bejeezus out of me.
