I started a Slack community for anything hardware. The main purpose of it is to connect like-minded entrepreneurs and early stage startups with the right people to accelerate their time to market or anyone interested in hardware.
We currently have almost 400 members, and include some small PCB fabrication shops from the US as well as larger end-to-end companies that will help you DFM, source, and manufacture from China. We also have a few people launching kickstarter campaigns and using the network to reach a broader audience.
If you don’t know what Slack is, it’s pretty much a cloud-based successor to IRC (you don’t have to install anything for full functionality), where you can have previews in your links, and chat history is saved so you can look at the resources posted from before. Helps with organizing and connecting with people.
