If you head to Salt Lake Comic Con over Labor Day weekend, don’t be alarmed if you see a war troll among the attendees. It is not, in fact, a villain from Lord of the Rings, but a costume by Brantley Carter, a.k.a. Artwork BC. He made a large troll costume that looks to be inspired by the orcs from Middle-earth. The ensemble includes a PVC pipe frame to add bulk, textured skin and body parts, armor, a helm, and a mask element. The combination of materials makes the troll unique and intimidating.
