Austrian Artist Creates Pedal-Powered Cardboard Replica Racing Cars #ArtTuesday
Fahrradi‘ is Han Lan’s signature pedal-powered vehicle (see video below) but he’s made a number of pedal-powered vehicles and watercraft and other contraptions over the years. His builds are actually quite laborious, wrapping cardboard, plastic components, PVC, and other materials around sophisticated welded recumbent-like bike frames. And for whatever reason his website looks like it hasn’t been updated – style-wise – since the late 90s!
Watch the ‘Fahrradi’ in action, at 6mph:
Hat-tip Patrick Breslin for tipping me off about the video!
