We’re Celebrating our Adafruit Team this #LaborDay – David from Storage!
David’s Superman shirt is no joke. This is the most still we’ve ever seen him. David tools around Adafruit with a cart full of products, making sure everyone’s got what they need. His knowledge of Adafruit is deep and he always, always has a smile on his face. He’s Here are some words from David from Storage!
Hello, my name is David, I am currently an inventory specialist/kitting liaison here at Adafruit. Just in case you’re wondering what that means, I am responsible in ensuring that our Kitting Department has everything they need from components to boxes and everything in between in order to complete those packs that you (our wonderful customers) love. I am also responsible in ensuring that our Gathering Department has all the products needed to sell to all of you.
I admit I have an addiction to Pepsi and shopping (please no judgements) lol! When I first joined the company I was a bit skeptical about all the good things I had heard from other employees not because it seemed untruthful but because it sounded too good to be true. A year and few months later I’ve learned and seen for myself what a privilege it is to be part of the Adafruit family.
I’ve worked a number of jobs in my years, but none like this. Here at Adafruit you are treated with respect, consideration, and most importantly love. Regardless of who you are, where you come from, what you like, and what you know, current members welcome new ones with an open mind ready to show, guide, and encourage you to grow…
With all that said, I am proud and honored to be part of such a special company WE can call home.
