Overwatch’s Lucio is known for being exceptionally mobile and being able to jump onto walls and ride them. In short, he can get places other heroes can’t. Cosplayer and maker Alanna Mode dressed as the character at the recent Fan Expo Canada convention. She used several pieces of EVA foam to construct the armor and painted it to match the character’s bright blue and green hues. She crafted his sonic amplifier too — you can see pictures below. She designed the schematics for the amplifier by hand; she said:
Drawing out props by hand may seem tedious or time consuming but I find it really satisfying and easier to work with. Never used pep files or printing (maybe someday though). I love doing the math, especially when the math somehow turns into this awesomeness.
